Oscar’s Kids: National Childhood Cancer Charity

Oscar’s Kids is an international, pediatric cancer charity, helping children and their families in the US and Ireland. 

Their mission is to save the lives of countless children suffering from this fatal disease, DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), while bringing some magic to their lives along the way. But to do this, they need your help. Research is the greatest tool in discovering new and improved ways to help treat and cure children, yet childhood cancer research is massively underfunded around the world.

Your donation will support cutting-edge research to help fuel groundbreaking treatments for DIPG.

Northern Triangle 

Northern Triangle is a humanitarian organization providing support for refugees from the Northern Triangle region. They are committed to helping the children, women, and families that have fled to the United States from the Northern Triangle of Central America  [Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua], supporting equitable solutions and charitable activities to resolve a region in crisis. It is their vision to raise awareness about the devastation that is impacting the people and the environment.

How your donation can help: 

Your donation will help to temporarily house the thousands of unaccompanied minors that have immigrated to the U.S. and quickly reconnect them with their families.

Musicians at Play: Music Education in the Classroom

This one plays close to our hearts at 5D Spectrum as we are huge advocates of art and music programs in the classroom. Students involved in the arts have tremendous academic benefits compared to students without exposure to the arts. Art inspires kids to excel in and out of the classroom. It helps students stay in school, increases motivation, improves attitudes and attendance, and improves academic performance.¹ The Musicians at Play Foundation (MAP) provides students and teachers access to music education through live performances and mentorship programs in underserved schools.

How your donation can help: 

Your support helps Musicians at Play provide tuition-free music education programs (aligned with VAPA standards) to marginalized youth, schools and their communities that are combating the racial disparity and digital divide of the communities they live in.

Motiv: Harnessing the Power of Bitcoin for Good

Motiv empowers the disempowered and emancipates people from oppression using Bitcoin. Motiv Kids focuses on the children in the community. The goal is to create opportunity through education. Kids Story Clubs engage children in both the fantasy world and worlds beyond their scope of knowledge.

After School Enrichment and Tutoring is about the opportunity. Designed to pique interest by expanding upon what is being taught in class, this program not only provides aid with classroom learning but also challenges thinking by sharing more than reading, writing, and math. Art and music are key pivot points of this program.

English lessons are offered for all in the community. As the community grows along with its residents, so does opportunity which includes engagement with the outside world.

When you donate to Motiv, your donation is put to work immediately. It is used in communities without convenient access to very basic needs to survive. Your donations help those in need with the opportunity to survive in impoverished countries and help build livable and sustainable circular economies.
