The online store, which was established in 1960, offers a variety of products, including hand-cut earrings and rings for women, cufflinks and knives for men, and items for the home. The pieces are characterized by their attention to detail and craftsmanship, with bestsellers including the Quail Belt Buckle.

THE CHALLENGE

The Grainger McKoy brand is built on a foundation of fine art and craftsmanship, but its website’s rigid navigation and dated design restricted its ability to showcase the full range of luxury products. The challenge was to create a digital experience that reflects the brand’s elegance and artistry, with flexible navigation that allows new collections and product lines to be easily featured.

THE SOLUTION

We designed and developed a new digital experience that honors Grainger McKoy’s artistic heritage while offering the flexibility of a modern e-commerce platform. Our approach focused on three key areas:

Elevated Visuals: We re-imagined the homepage with stunning, full-screen photography that highlights the artistry and detail of Grainger McKoy’s work, immediately establishing the brand’s luxury positioning. The new imagery serves as a visual anchor, drawing visitors into the quality and craftsmanship behind each piece.

Intuitive Navigation (Mega Menu): To address the challenge of a wide and diverse product catalog, we implemented a new mega menu. This allows customers to easily navigate the site and find products in just a few clicks. The mega menu visually organizes product categories—from Women’s and Men’s jewelry to Home and Silver goods—making the entire collection easily discoverable without cluttering the homepage.

Enhanced User Experience (UI/UX): We redesigned the site’s interface with a cleaner, more elegant aesthetic. We created new UI/UX to showcase the key product categories, making browsing feel more like exploring a curated gallery than a simple online store. We created seasonal imagery and language to keep the site fresh all year long and extended that creative to the email marketing for brand consistency.
