5D Spectrum leveraged the powerful google maps engine to provide trail maps and user GPS tracking for the La Cañada Flintridge Trails Council website. Now users can access the trail maps using their mobile device and locate themselves with a built-in GPS locator. The site also features a built in alert system to notify hikers of known dangers on the trails. Hikes can easily report repairs needed to the trails with a notification system that send the message plus exact GPS location to the council.
