The Women’s International Music Network is Celebrating Women in Music at the 2022 She Rocks Awards
The She Rocks Awards honors trailblazing women from all areas of the industry– from educators, to label execs, manufacturers, non-profits, media, performers, engineers, and more. Past honorees include Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Gaynor, Tal Wilkenfeld, Nita Strauss, Pat Benatar, The Bangles, Suzi Quatro, The B-52s, Colbie Caillat, Sheila E., Linda Perry, Chaka Khan, Ronnie Spector, Lita Ford, Esperanza Spalding, Shirley Manson and many others.
This year’s awards take place on June 2, 2022 at The Ranch in Anaheim, CA and are open to the public. There are very limited tickets available for this live event.
The She Rocks Awards will be honoring Meredith Brooks, Dionne Warwick, Yvette Young, Carmen Vandenberg, MILCK, Sherri Chung, Lyndsey Parker, EveAnna Manley, Julie Robbins, Leslie Gaston-Bird and Kerry Fiero. Lzzy Hale and Katie Daryl are the hosts with Tenille Arts as the opening act and Command Sisters as the house band.
“It brought tears to my eyes as Beatie dedicated her song to Allee. They had been working on an art installation together when Allee took us all by surprise and crossed the rainbow bridge on Christmas eve 2019,” said De Ivett.
With a passion for music and as a bass player and songwriter, 5D Spectrum founder De Ivett can be found working behind the scenes at the She Rocks Awards show to manage the talent and live posting photos of the event on social media.
“I love this show – it speaks to my heart to see these amazing women taking the music industry by storm”, said De Ivett. “At 5D, our motto is to ‘use our superpowers for good’, so we choose to support this important cause by volunteering our time and photography services.”
Each year, the She Rocks Awards attracts music icons, artists, industry professionals, fans, and media for a one-of-a-kind event that shines the spotlight on women who stand out in the industry, and offers a high energy evening of performances, networking opportunities, giveaways, a silent auction and more. 5D photographer Mike Dee will be capturing these amazing women as they walk the red carpet to receive their awards.
